The renowned SYMBIOSIS CENTRE FOR MANAGEMENT & HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT (SCMHRD) cultivates elite executives and businesspeople. SCMHRD Pune: Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have graduated with a minimum of 50% of credits or an equivalent grade from an accredited university or institution of national importance (45% of credits or an equivalent grade for members of Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes).

Students who are in their last year of graduation are also eligible to apply, although admittance is contingent upon earning at least 50% of the possible points (45% for SC/ST students).

International candidates are not eligible for the graduation mark concession granted to SC/ST candidates.

SCMHRD Pune: Admission Process

It is mandatory for all Indian students to register for and take the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP). If the candidate intends to take SNAP once or twice, that decision must be made well in ahead. Candidates without a valid SNAP score are not eligible to apply for admission to the SCMHRD MBA programmes.

SCMHRD Pune: MBA Selection Criteria

The following is the procedure that the MBA programme admissions office uses:

Level 1: A list of short-listed applicants for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Exercise, and Personal Interaction (GEPI) process will be announced based on their SNAP score.

Level 2: The candidates who made the short list must schedule a time to appear for the written ability test (WAT), group exercise, and personal interaction process (GEPI).

Level 3: The final merit list will be announced by SCMHRD.

All applicants’ candidature will be deemed void if they do not receive the necessary scores on the SNAP exam.
All MBA programmes base their final selection on the combination of GEPI, WAT performance, and SNAP score.

Pattern of the SNAP Exam

The SNAP Exam now lasts 60 minutes instead of 120.
This test is going to be computer-based.There will be five special questions in the quantitative, data interpretation, and data sufficiency sections of the test.
The SNAP Exam Syllabus is derived from prior years and is not published by SIU.
For every successful response, one mark is given; for every incorrect response, 0.25 marks are subtracted as negative marking.
