Located in Somaiya Vidyavihar, Mumbai, the K J Somaiya Institute of Management (KJSIM), formerly known as the K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research (SIMSR), is an independent business school. It was founded in 1981 as a division of Somaiya Vidyavihar and the K. J. Somaiya Trust. In May 2013, the University Grants Commission granted KJSIM the status as an independent institute. In 1959, Somaiya Vidyavihar was founded by Shri K. J. Somaiya.
