IIM Mumbai: Admission Process
The admission process for the MBA batch of 2026-28 relies on your CAT 2025 score. It follows a multi-stage selection process leading to a final composite score calculation. The three primary stages are:
- Stage 1: CAT-based Shortlisting
Candidates must meet the minimum sectional and overall CAT percentiles to be considered for the Personal Interview (PI) round. - Stage 2: Personal Interview (PI)
Shortlisted candidates participate in the PI, which assesses communication, analytical thinking, career goals, and motivation. - Stage 3: Final Selection
A final merit list is generated based on a composite score, which includes the CAT score, PI performance, and the Application Rating (AR) score for academic record and work experience.
