Course Structure of IPM at IIM Indore
3 Years of BA in Foundations of Management and 2 Years of MBA = IPM at IIM Indore
IPM Students at IIM Indore take social internship at the end of 2nd year and business internship at the end of 4th and 5th year. In the first two years a student studies maths, calculus, humanities, social studies, economics etc. The last two years are exactly as per PGPM program in IIM Indore. This gives IPM Indore students a very wide exposure and holistic development of personality. This makes IPM Indore the most sought after course after class 12th.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10 or SSC and in Class 12 or HSC or equivalent exams for General, NC-OBC and EWS category
- Candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate in Class 10 or SSC and in Class 12 or HSC or equivalent exams for SC, ST and PWD category
- Candidates in the final year of Class 12 standard are also eligible to apply. Such candidates will be provided admissions provisionally
- Candidate must be a maximum of 20 years of age.
Note: i) The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the mark sheet/grade sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulation
ii) Applicants completed their X and/or XII standard / pursuing their XII standard from international schools affiliated to foreign board’s like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply.

Candidates belonging to NC-OBC, SC, ST and PwD categories need to produce valid Caste certificate(s) in support of their reservation category and candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) need to produce a valid document ascertaining the eligibility of the candidate to apply under EWS category.

Important Points
- Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking. Every question carries 4 marks. SA Questions have no negative marks.
- Total questions decreased to 90.
- Sectional Time limit increased to 40 minutes for each section from 30 minutes earlier.
- Test duration increased to 120 minutes.
- Maximum Marks is 360 Marks
SELECTION CRITERIA
For selection process student need to undergo the following:
1. Aptitude Test i.e. IPMAT
2. Shortlisted candidates need to appear for Written Ability Test (WA) & Personal Interview (PI)
The candidates will be selected on the basis of overall performance in Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Assessment (PA) {this will be a Personal Interview (PI)}.
3. Sectional Cut Off-
The candidates should have a minimum mark in each of the three sections of Aptitude Test. The minimum cut off mark in each section will be decided by the Admissions Committee. The minimum cut off mark in each section will be based on the categories of applicants.
4. Weightage for Final Selection IPM IIM INDORE
For final admission, weightages are:
Weightage of IPMAT 2021 Aptitute Test Score (ATS) = 65%
Weightage of Personal Assessment (PA) = 35%
Composite Score (CS)- Sum of above= 100%
What is Aptitude Test Score (ATS)???
Aptitude Test Score (ATS) is the sum of Sum of scores calculated only for candidates who meet with the sectional cut-off marks in various categories
Score in Quantitative Ability (MCQ) Section: 25 x (Candidate’s Score — Min. Score)/(Max. Score — Min. Score)
Score in Quantitative Ability (SA) Section: 25 x (Candidate’s Score — Min. Score)/(Max. Score — Min. Score)
Score in Verbal Ability Section: 50 x (Candidate’s Score — Min. Score)/(Max. Score — Min. Score)
Aptitude Test Score (ATS) Sum of above scores
Note: Maximum and Minimum scores are the highest and lowest scores obtained in respective sections by the candidates from the eligible pool
Based on above Composite Score, Candidates with highest Scores in each category will be shortlisted for Personal Assessment (PA).

Fees and Accommodation
The course fee for resident Indians for the 1st three years of the IPM would be:
Rs. 4,00,000/- (Rupees four lakh) per annum and Rs. 6,00,000/- (Rupees six lakh) per annum for International applicant.
Course fee for the 4th and 5th years would be as per prevailing Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) fees
