Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a common entrance test for all UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses offered in more than 45 central universities across India. This exam is conducted once a year. This paper is divided into two parts – A & B. Both the parts have MCQ type of questions. - CUCET is a common entrance exam for all UG, PG, and PhD courses offered by 40+ central universities. Thus the eligibility criteria differ for different candidates.
- For appearing in the CUET (UG) – 2024, there is no age limit for the candidates.
- The candidates who have passed the class 12th or appearing in class 12th can take CUET exam.
- However, Students will have to check eligibility criteria of specific universities they are applying to.
What is the Selection Procedure of CUET?
After your CUET exam, the result is announced after a month. After that, all those candidates who have secured a place on the merit list are called for a counselling session. Each university organizes its own counselling session.
This is an individual counselling process and each student is given proper time. If the candidate’s name is on the counselling session’s list, he/she will be invited by the CUET consortium. Then, on registering on the official website, the login credentials are given to the candidate. If the candidate has been called on to offline counselling, he/she will be required to reach the University campus and attend the session.

When and where will the CUET 2024 Application form be available?
The Application Form for CUET 2024 will be available in April month 2024. The application must be filled in online at https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.
- Candidates should register online filling in their details in the mandatory fields.
- The CUET Application no. and password shall be sent through SMS and Email after registration.
- Candidates have to log in and enter their academic details.
- They should upload their photograph and signature as specified.
- After completion of the application form, the candidates must pay the fees.
