With more over 17,500 students enrolled in on-campus programmes at its campuses in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Dubai, BITS Pilani is a Deemed to be University. The Indian Ministry of Education bestowed upon it the title of Institution of Eminence in 2020.

BITS Pilani’s Department of Management was founded in 1971. At first, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme was provided for two years. The integrated first-degree programme MMS (Master of Management Studies), which combined management and engineering in a novel way, replaced the MBA in 1973. By equipping quality management experts with strong technical capabilities and business management acumen, the programme aimed to close the gap in the industry. 2006 saw another restructuring of the course as an MBA, this time in response to industry demands.

In response to the needs of the modern economy, BITS Pilani launched the Business Analytics MBA programme in 2021–2022. BITS Pilani has placed a great emphasis on the value of experience as a component of education over the years by making sure that its programmes have a close relationship with business and give students the chance to participate in autonomous experiential learning. The core, electives, industrial component, and research in the form of Practice School and dissertation are optimally combined in the MBA in Business Analytics curriculum. The pedagogy makes sure that cases, projects, simulations, labs, and other experiential elements take up at least 50% of the sessions.

BITS Pilani: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants with a minimum of 60% overall in any discipline for their bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent.
The candidate must have completed at least one mathematics or statistics course at the 10+2 or above high school level.
It is preferable for candidates to have some programming language experience.
Students who are in their last year of a qualifying degree programme may also apply, providing they meet additional requirements and can submit original copies of their results by October 1, 2023.

The online application will end on February 28, 2023, at 11:59 PM. The online application link provides the payment method, which is online, for the application fee of INR 3300/-.

The application fee cannot be transferred or refunded.

Scholarship:

Applications for Teaching Assistantships are taken into consideration for admission to the MBA programme. Students are chosen based on their CGPA and/or skill set. Those who are chosen for a teaching assistantship must assist faculty members in teaching and other institute development activities. Three categories can be used to divide up the pupils’ work:

Under the supervision of the teachers in their own department, the students must labour and assist in a specific course (Department of Management, BITS Pilani).

Assistance with everyday operations of the Department of Management at BITS Pilani, Pilani campus, is mandatory for students.

Under the supervision of the faculty in another department, students are obliged to assist in a certain course as long as their skill set aligns with what the department needs.

BITS Pilani: MBA Fees structure

The following fees schedule is applicable for candidates seeking new admission during the academic year 2024-2025.

The one-time Application Fee is to be paid at the time of submitting the Application Form through the Online Application Centre.

Admission Fee (one-time) and Semester Fee (for the First Semester) are to be paid together once admission is offered to the candidate. Thus, a candidate who has been offered admission will have to pay INR 83,250/-. You may choose to make the payment using Netbanking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card through the Online Application Centre. Option to pay fees using an easy EMI with 0% interest and 0 down payment.
