UBS Chandigarh: Admission, Eligibility, Fees, Cut off, etc.

UBS Chandigarh

For forty years, University Business School (previously the Department of Commerce and Business Management) has provided top-notch management education to cultivate committed, creative, and successful managers, researchers, and educators. The Department of Commerce and Business Management was renamed University Business School (UBS) by Punjab University in 1995, signifying the department’s maturity and completion as a hub for management education in India. Its change from Department to School has allowed it to take on a unique identity as a ‘School of Thought’. An integrative value framework forms the foundation of the UBS management education concept. It is driven by humanism, scientific temper, and duty-bound work ethics.

The school effectively integrates industry with its demanding, varied curriculum to fulfil its objective. It gives students the chance to improve their knowledge of the political, social, and economic environments; to widen their perspectives; to become catalysts rather than just adapters to change; and to strengthen their ability to think, decide, and communicate.

The UBS faculty, having received training both domestically and elsewhere, is well-known both in the business and academic communities worldwide. The school’s graduates have left their mark on the business sector. The University Grants Commission has recognised the school under the Special Assistance Programme for the following thrust areas: Innovative Financing, Supply Chain Management, Accounting and Business Finance-Social Responsibility and Human Resources Accounting (HRA), and Investment Decision Making (with a focus on HRA and CSR).Under its esteemed ASIHHS Programme, the University Grant Commission has also provided coverage for the University Business School.
