S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), the premier business school in India, was founded in 1981 with the mission of “fostering responsible innovation that creates value-based growth to benefit society.”
It is a part of India’s top non-profit organisation, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Financial Times 2022 Global Rankings place SPJIMR at No. 2 in India and No. 44 globally, with AACSB certification. Our vision is to become the most creative and socially conscious management school in India. We combine original research and thought, cutting-edge pedagogy, and proactive industry involvement to develop knowledge and impact practice.
Our goal is to promote value-based growth and influence practice. Our approach to achieving our purpose will be as follows:
(a) Learner-centric pedagogy that places equal emphasis on attitudes, such as spirituality and skills, as on knowledge;
(b) exposing students to growth based on values in underprivileged areas of our communities;
(c) The synthesis of the eastern ethos, which emphasises collaboration, and the competition-based western efficiency in our curriculum; and
(d) The intellectual contributions meant to have an impact on practice.
We maintain an entrepreneurial, flexible, adaptable, and cooperative culture and value operational flexibility.

SPJIMR: Fees and Eligibility
SPJIMR: PGDM Admission Process
Every year, the program’s application forms go up in September and end in November of that same year. INR 2000 is the application fee (subject to change). The following are the steps involved in SPJIMR admission:
- Complete the application and send the required payment.
Take the CAT or GMAT exam. - Phase 1 of the shortlisting process is based on the candidates’ profiles, which are then classified into two categories: profiles-based and profile-cum-score based (phase 2).
In the first step, students are selected from a shortlist based on their academic standing, admission exam eligibility cutoff, work experience, and extracurricular activities and achievements. - Phase 2 takes place following the release of the admission exam. The shortlist is determined by the candidate’s biography and exam results.
- Those who make the short list need to show up for an interview.
Composite scores, which take into account a candidate’s profile, academic standing, results from entrance exams, employment history (if applicable), and performance during the two stages of group interviews, are used to determine the final selection of students.
