The inaugural two-year full-time Masters in Management Studies (MMS) programme in India was initiated at JBIMS, overseen by the esteemed Dr. K. S. Basu. JBIMS Admission 2024: MMS
The main degree offered by JBIMS is a two-year, full-time Masters in Management Studies (MMS). Candidates for MMS at JBIMS Mumbai must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% of the possible points (45% for candidates from reserved categories and PwD candidates from Maharashtra state).
The MMS programme is divided into five specialisation areas: digital business, human resources, marketing, finance, operations, and supply chain management.
JBIMS: MMS Selection Criteria
MMS Admission is available from JBIMS Mumbai based on MAH-CET / CAT Score. Applicants must submit an application for the DTE Maharastra CAP Rounds.But for the 2024–2026 JBIMS, admissions are decided upon using an In-person Assessment (IPA) that includes a written aptitude test (WAT), a group activity (GA), and a personal interview (PI).
The candidate’s past academic record and profile evaluation are also taken into account. The candidates’ Application Rating Score (AR) and In-Person Assessment (IPA) scores add up to their Total Score. The in-person evaluation is weighted 40% and the application rating score is 60%, respectively. 45 for the Reserved Category and 50 for the General Category is the minimum cumulative score required for admission.
Assessment of the Candidate’s Resume (AR)
A selection of applicants is created for the in-person evaluation using an Application Rating (AR). This involves rating a candidate’s profile according to a number of criteria.
