IIM Shillong Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for the PGP must satisfy the following criteria:
- CAT Eligibility: Must appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT). Candidates in the final year of graduation can apply provisionally, provided they submit proof of completion by December 31, 2026.
- Graduation Requirement: Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Shillong IIM PGP 2026-2028 Admission
The admission process is typically conducted in two phases:
Stage 1: CAT-based Shortlisting
Candidates who meet the minimum sectional CAT cut-offs are shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) process. Shortlisting is based on a Composite Score, which is calculated using:
- Total CAT Percentile: 65% weightage
- Normalized Application Rating Score (NARS): 35% weightage
- NARS is calculated based on scores for Class X, Class XII, Graduation percentages, and Work Experience.
Stage 2: Personal Interview (PI) and Final Selection
Shortlisted candidates participate in the online Personal Interview (PI). The final merit list and admission offers are determined by the Overall Score (OS), which is calculated using the following weights:
