IIM Rohtak: Fees, Eligibility, Programmes, etc

The Ministry of Education and the Government of India created the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Act 2017 that founded the IIM in Rohtak. According to the Indian Ministry of Education, IIM Rohtak is a nationally significant institute.

The 2009-founded Indian Institute of Management Rohtak aims to eventually become a worldwide leader in management education and sets the standard for elite management education in India. The institute boasts a distinguished faculty, well-equipped facilities, and a strong methodology for instruction. Its leadership is intelligent and progressive. In order to develop future leaders who can manage and build strong organisations, it continues to convey information in the management domain from a distinctive cross-functional approach. IIM Rohtak is situated in India’s National Capital Region (NCR), ninety minutes from the international airport in Delhi. The 200-acre, state-of-the-art campus is conveniently situated on National Highway-10 and has excellent access to Delhi.

Stage I Online Registration for PGP Admission 2024-26 (Batch-XV), IIM Rohtak.

 Stage II Personal Interview (PI) for only shortlisted candidates.

Stage III The Final Selection List based on CAT score, PI score, Gender and Academic diversity.

 Stage IV Offer for Provisional Admission for the PGP programme 2024-26 (Batch-XV).

 Stage V Reporting for joining the PGP programme 2024-26 (Batch-XV).

Step I: Register online for PGP admission at IIM Rohtak for the 2024–2026 batch (XV). The following Table 1 lists the minimum eligibility requirements for the registration process, which are based on the aggregate percentile scores in the CAT 2023:

2. IIM Rohtak will be accepting online applications for PGP 2024–2026 registration (Batch-XV).
a.) Depending on when the CAT 2023 results are released, registration may begin as early as the first week of January 2024 or earlier. The deadline for online registration will likely be one week following the release of the CAT 2023 results.
b.) In order to register online, candidates must construct their login ID (USER NAME & PASSWORD). In addition to a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 2928/- (two thousand nine hundred twenty-eight only), candidates must submit an application or admission data form.

3. Candidates who meet the requirements will get an email with a web link to register for PGP Admissions 2024–2026 (PGP Batch XV) PI procedure.

4. The applicants who made the short list and sent in their registration payments by the designated time and date, you’ll be invited to the personal interview (in Stage 2) and given consideration.

Phase Two: Individual Interview (PI)


1. Every candidate who was initially shortlisted will show up for the personal interview stage (Stage II).


2. An email will be sent to each shortlisted candidate instructing them to download their call letters in order to appear during the in-person interview. The call letter will contain all necessary information, including the date, time, and any additional requirements. Stage III: Final Selection List determined by Diversity, Personal Interview, and CAT scores.

1. The CAT Total Score (Scaled to 100) will be given a weight of 60%. The score from the personal interview will be given 20% of the total weight. Additionally, academics will be given a 20% weighting both gender diversity and diversity.


2. A merit/rank list will be created using the weighted sum of the following factors: (a) CAT, (b) personal interview, and (c) diversity. The candidates on this list will be asked to participate in Stage IV.

Offer of Provisional Admission for the PGP programme, 2024–2026 batch, is the fourth stage.

  1. The candidate’s offer of admission will be granted purely based on merit/rank list and the number of seats available in each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST, & DAP) in accordance with Indian government reservation regulations.

    2. A preliminary offer letter for admission from pgpadmission@iimrohtak.ac.in will be sent to each shortlisted candidate via their registered email address.


3. A candidate who accepts an admission offer from IIM Rohtak (IIM-R) within the allotted time frame must deposit the Offer Acceptance Amount—which is specified in the Offer Letter—through the admission portal alone. The linked bank will send a text message and an automated receipt for the transaction to the candidate’s registered email address and mobile number.      

  4. The candidate’s registered email address will receive a confirmation letter for provisional admission to PGP Admission 2024–2026. This confirmation letter will include all reporting requirements and joining formalities, such as the date, time, and location of the joining session date for depositing the entire term fee, the fee schedule, the student’s and parents’ affidavits, the indemnity bond, the vaccination record, the most recent category certificate (if applicable), the government photo ID, the medical fitness certificate, the application form for the assignment of a hostel, the class schedule, etc.).

Step V: Reporting to the PGP programme for the 2024–2026 batch (XV)


1. The candidate must use their username and password to access the Institute website and deposit the entire programme money, term cost, or mesh charge as specified in the confirmation letter and the requirement to report to the Institute Campus in Rohtak on the day specified in the letter of confirmation In addition, the candidates’ hostel rooms will be assigned by the admission team once they physically verify the documents on the day of reporting to the school. Male and female students will have separate first-come, first-served priority for hostel allocation (twin sharing A.C. rooms). The DAP category’s hostel rooms will be set up on the ground floor with twin sharing.
