The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at IIM Ranchi is a 5-year full-time postgraduate course. Upon completing the full 5 years, students will receive a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. However, students who choose to exit after three years, having fulfilled all the necessary requirements, will be awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.
The programme offers a multidisciplinary approach in its first four terms, drawing on humanities, social sciences, arts, and sciences. Its business core spans five years, providing a comprehensive understanding of various business areas. The learning experience includes lectures, discussions, case studies, simulations, group projects, internships, and mentorships to promote active engagement. Additionally, life-skill courses are incorporated to support students’ overall development as socially responsible professionals. Programme Fee
The fee for IPM for the batch 2024-29 in the first three years will be ₹15.63 lakh (excluding Caution Deposit, Alumni Fee & Mess Expense). The fee for the last two years will be the same as the MBA fees for those particular years.
Course Curriculum
The Integrated Programme in Management is a fully residential course, structured into nine terms over three years. Students are required to complete a Social Internship Immersion Programme (SIIP) after the fifth term. At the end of the third year, there is a capstone assessment, and students must have a minimum CGPA of 4.5 to be promoted to the MBA programme. In the fourth and fifth years, students follow the standard MBA curriculum.
