The CAT 2024 exam saw a total of 3.29 lakh candidates registered, with 1.19 lakh female candidates, 2.10 lakh male candidates, and 14 transgender candidates. Of these, 2.93 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, including 1.07 lakh females, 1.86 lakh males, and 9 transgender candidates.
In terms of top scorers, a total of 14 candidates achieved a perfect 100 percentile, consisting of 13 males and 1 female. Notably, the majority of these high achievers (13 out of 14) come from an engineering background, while 1 candidate stands out as being from a non-engineering discipline.
