CAT 2023 Notification | Important Dates, Pattern & Fees

The moment that every CAT 2023 aspirant is waiting has arrived. CAT 2023 registration will open from first week of August 2023 and will end in mid September 2022. CAT 2023 is being conducted by one of the IIMs. The CAT 2023 will happen on Sunday, November 26, 2023 in three sessions. CAT 2023 Important Dates:

Here are the important dates for CAT 2023 Exam-

Registration Start Date: 2nd August August 2023, 10 AM onwards

Registration End Date: 13th September, 2023 at 5 pm

CAT 2023 Admit Card Download Date: October 25, 2023 until November 26, 2023.

CAT 2023 Exam Day: 26th November 2023 (Sunday)

Result Declaration: 1st Week of January 2024.

CAT 2023 Eligibility

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories]

CAT 2023 Reservation

• 15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates.
• 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
• 27% for Other Backward Classes candidates belonging to the “Non-Creamy” layer (NC-OBC).
• Up to 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates ,and
• 5% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD).

CAT 2023 Paper Pattern:

CAT 2023 exam will be conducted in three sessions. this means that no major change is expected in CAT 2023 vis-à-vis CAT 2022. The duration of the test will be 120 minutes. There will be three sections:
o Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension- 24 Questions- 40 Mins
o Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning- 20 Questions – 40 Mins
o Section III: Quantitative Ability- 22 Questions – 40 mins
