To meet the increasing demand for skilled managerial professionals, IIM Bodh Gaya introduced a five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) starting from the 2021 academic session. This programme’s curriculum emphasizes experiential learning, global exposure, and a comprehensive course structure. Its primary aim is to build a strong foundation for students, equipping them for leadership roles in corporate and government sectors. The IPM programme is designed to instill a global outlook on management practices. Through early enrollment and a rigorous, well-rounded curriculum, students will develop problem-solving abilities using analytical tools and make ethical, socially responsible decisions in business scenarios.
Upon successfully completing the programme, students will be awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IIM Bodh Gaya. Those choosing to exit after completing the first three years will receive a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.
IIM Bodh Gaya IPM Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have completed or be appearing for their 10+2/XII/HSC examination in arts, commerce, or science streams (or an equivalent qualification) with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates) in 2023 or 2024. Candidates expecting to finish their Class XII/HSC or equivalent by July 31, 2024, are also eligible to apply.
Additionally, candidates must have passed their Class 10th examination in 2021 or later with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates).
The calculation of Class X and XII marks will follow the respective Board’s regulations. If no such rule exists, the aggregate percentage will be derived from all subjects listed on the grade sheet.
For students currently appearing for their Class XII examination, admission will be provisional until results are declared. Failure to meet the required marks will result in disqualification from the admission process.

The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) will have an approximate intake of 120 students.
Selection Process
Joint IPM Admission Test (JIPMAT)
Admission to the IPM programme will be based on the Joint IPM Admission Test (JIPMAT 2024), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. IIM Bodh Gaya may also consider conducting a joint entrance examination in collaboration with other IIMs offering IPM.
Merit List
The merit list will be prepared based on the candidates’ JIPMAT 2024 scores. Candidates must achieve at least the category-wise sectional percentile of 30 to qualify for the merit list.
Reservation Policy:
- Admission will follow the Government of India’s reservation rules for SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS, and PwD categories.
- 70% of the total seats are gender-neutral. If an adequate number of female candidates qualify under various reservation categories within this pool, the remaining 30% of seats will also remain gender-neutral.
- However, if there is an imbalance in gender representation, the remaining 30% of seats may include a mix of gender-neutral and Supernumerary Girls (SNG) seats to encourage a balanced gender ratio while maintaining merit as the primary criterion.
Tie-Breaking Rule for Merit List
If two or more candidates have the same overall composite score, their ranking will be determined based on the following criteria, in order of priority:
- JIPMAT overall score – Higher score gets a higher rank.
- VARC (Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension) section score – Higher score gets a higher rank.
- QA (Quantitative Aptitude) section score – Higher score gets a higher rank.
- DILR (Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning) section score – Higher score gets a higher rank.
- Class X marks – Higher percentage gets a higher rank.
- Class XII marks – Higher percentage gets a higher rank.
- Class XII examination year – Candidates appearing more recently are ranked higher.
- Class X examination year – Candidates appearing more recently are ranked higher.
- Date of Birth – The younger candidate will be given a higher rank.
Offer Acceptance Fee & Withdrawal Policy
Once the merit list is announced, candidates must register their Expression of Interest (EOI) to confirm their willingness to join. Admission offers will be extended based on seat availability and the candidate’s position in the merit list.
- Candidates who accept the admission offer from IIM Bodh Gaya must pay an Offer Acceptance Amount of ₹60,000 within the specified deadline.
- If the candidate joins the program, this amount will be adjusted against the Semester I fee.
- If the candidate withdraws before the institute’s specified withdrawal date, the Offer Acceptance Amount will be refunded, after deducting ₹1,000 as processing charges.
- If the withdrawal request is made after the deadline, no refund will be provided.
- If a candidate withdraws after registration, no refund of the Offer Acceptance Amount or Semester Fee will be granted.
