MICA Program Overview
- According to AICTE (the accrediting body) regulations, MICA’s PGP offering offers two programs: PGDM-C and PGDM. These are required for the admissions process for the academic year 2025–2027.
- Candidates may choose to enroll in the PGDM-C program or the PGDM program.
MICAT 2024: Eligibility Criteria
- Admission to the Post-graduate Programmes (PGP), including PGDM (C) and PGDM, requires a Bachelor’s degree (10 + 2 + 3 system) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Candidates who are in their final year of their Bachelor’s degree or have completed all degree requirements but are awaiting results can also apply.
- These candidates must provide a certificate from the principal, director, registrar, or head of department of their institution/university. This certificate should confirm that the candidate is in their final year or awaiting results and has completed all necessary requirements for the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification as of the certificate’s issue date.
- The certificate must be submitted by June 30, 2025.
- If selected, candidates who submit the required certificate will be granted provisional admission to the program.
- Final admission will only be confirmed upon submission of the final mark sheet and a certificate confirming the completion of the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification.
The deadline for submitting the final mark sheet and passing certificate is December 31, 2025. Failure to meet this requirement will lead to the cancellation of provisional admission.

Tuition fees, living expenses, and infrastructure facility costs total about Rs 26,00,000 for a two-year Post Graduate Diploma program at MICA Ahmedabad. The maximum package offered by MICA for the 2024 placement season was Rs 35.50 LPA, while the average package was Rs 19.21 LPA.
MICAT 2024: Paper Pattern
MICA Selection Criteria: Batch 2025-2027
- Phase 1: Section A of the MICAT exam includes a psychometric test, which is a minimum requirement for candidates to be considered for shortlisting.
- Step 2: Candidates’ scores from GMAT, CAT, or XAT are then reviewed, with each section having a designated minimum cut-off.
- Step 3: Evaluation begins with Section C of the MICAT. Candidates must successfully complete all subsections of Section C to move on to Section B.
- Candidates who pass all required sections are invited for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI). Unlike traditional group discussions, MICAT features a GE, where candidates work on a task in groups and are evaluated based on their performance.
