The Institute of Management was established in 1996 with the vision of Padmashri Dr. Karsanbhai K. Patel. Its core values, which include entrepreneurship, integrity, social responsibility, excellence, and, most importantly, a certain amount of “chutzpah,” or guts, are what distinguish Nirma and serve as its defining characteristic. Currently, the Institute of Management is a globally acclaimed business school that is well-known for producing managers and leaders who improve organisations and benefit society.
The Institute of Management has always pushed the limits of what is possible to think, learn, and accomplish. It has developed a superb reputation for being contextual, student-centric, and nimble over the course of 25 beautiful years. In order to respond to, adapt, and even predict the powerful social and corporate realities, the rise of new roles, and the imperatives of developing and hybridised competencies, it has carefully selected new programmes, launched new age courses, and reorganised the curriculum. Academic activities that are meaningful, creative, and authentic are encouraged by the curriculum, the pedagogical mix, and the dedication to the outcome-based education philosophy. The school’s location in a thriving business hub in India, along with its faculty comprising highly qualified individuals, industry-ready talks by thought leaders in the field, value-adding workshops, and access to a real-world corporate lab, ensure that students leave with cutting-edge, continuously employable knowledge, skills, and abilities. Being entrepreneurial, engaged, ethical and socially responsible is in the DNA of the Institute and its graduates. We Create Learning; We Inspire transformation.
