In 2008, NMIMS began operations in Bengaluru (Koramangala). It now has a fully functional main campus that is situated on Bannerghatta Road.

NMIMS provides specialisations in the areas of finance, marketing, operations and HR, and analytics in its MBA programme, which is currently in its 14th year. The following standards will be used to choose the candidates for the MBA programme:
Step 1: In order to be admitted to the MBA programme, candidates must take the GMAC NMAT. The NMAT results will be electronically sent to NMIMS by GMAC.
Step 2: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a personal interview, psychometric test, or written analytical test based on their NMAT sectional and overall scores.
Step 3: Based on the candidate’s academic performance, job history, GMAC NMAT score, and performance in the second round of the selection process, a final merit list will be created.
