IIM Kashipur: Admission Procedure
- PGP
Based on their prior academic achievement and CAT scores, candidates will be narrowed down to a shortlist. Candidates who have been shortlisted are invited to a Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) phase. Based on test performance, PI, and CAT score, a merit list will be created.
- EPGPM
The application form must be filled out by the students first. It is necessary for qualified applicants to show up for a written exam. Those who make the short list go through a series of in-person interviews before receiving an offer of admission.
IIM Kashipur: Selection Criteria for PGP
IIM Kashipur takes into account a candidate’s academic history, relevant professional experience, performance on the CAT, Personal Interview (PI), and Written Analysis Test (WAT).
Scores in CAT
Students are selected for the PI-WAT round by IIM Kashipur based on their CAT results. The minimum percentile anticipated from candidates shortlisted for the PI & WAT is displayed in the table below. Although these percentages must be met, they are insufficient to be admitted. Pupils ought to strive for a higher percentile.
Selection Criteria for PI-WAT
Weightage for Experience
In the final selection stage, the combined weight of the metrics (CAT, WAT, and PI) is 82%. By preparing well for the CAT, WAT, and PI rounds, aspirants without a strong academic record or professional experience might still hope to be admitted to IIM Kashipur.
