The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) was established in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, in 2010 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (now the Ministry of Education) of the Government of India. Because of its abundance of indigenous, natural, and mineral resources, Chhattisgarh is one of the states in India that is expanding the fastest.
The Institute is dedicated to producing moral leaders who will not only advance business, commerce, and industry, but will also contribute to the development of the nation and enhance its reputation abroad. The institute is a hive of activity thanks to the student organisations, which are gradually broadening their purview and inviting notables from the corporate world. Over 200 acres of land have been set aside by the Chhattisgarh government for the IIM Raipur campus in Atal Nagar. The brand-new campus is a cutting-edge facility that offers a beautiful fusion of contemporary design, Chhattisgarhi tradition, and culture.

- Making a short list of applicants for in-person interviews (PI)
The percentile scored in CAT 2022 is used to determine which applicants get the short list for PI. The CAT exam consists of three sections: Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). Table 1 shows the overall percentile and minimum CAT percentile cut-offs needed to shortlist applicants for each area.
2. Final Selection
The percentage of marks a candidate received throughout their 12th standard and graduation—which is listed in Table 3—is the basis for assigning weights to academic profiles.
The Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension scores in the CAT 2022 will determine the 3% weights allotted for verbal comprehension.
Reservation Policy:
When it comes to admissions to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs), IIM Raipur will follow the Government of India’s reservation policy.
