All About NMAT Exam
NMAT 2024 Exam & Registration Date
Registration for the exam began on August 1, 2024, and will remain open until October 10, 2024. The examination period will run from November 5th to December 20th, providing students with plenty of time to take the test multiple times if needed.
Steps to Fill NMAT 2024 Application Form
The NMAT by GMAC exam registration process is easy and convenient. Start by following these simple steps:
- To begin, go to mba.com/nmat, click “Register for NMAT by GMACTM,” and create an account. Make sure the email address you use is active.
- Complete the remaining fields in “Manage NMAT Profile.”
- Look for a verification email in your inbox, then follow the instructions to validate your account. Make careful to look in your spam or junk mail folders. You can also click the “Resend Email Verification” option on the mba.com/nmat page if necessary.
- To access the Candidate Dashboard, click the “NMAT by GMACTM Dashboard” button on the mba.com/nmat page.
- Finish filling out the Candidate Dashboard application. Note: Your photo ID and name must perfectly match in terms of birthdate.
- In the School Preferences area, indicate which schools you would like your results sent to. Your registration price includes sending your score to five different colleges. For each school chosen over five, you can send additional score reports by paying INR 400 plus any applicable taxes.
- You need to upload a photo that looks like you and the one on your photo ID; it can’t be older than six months. The admit card, which you have to provide to the test centre administrator in person, will have this photo on it.

Exam Scheduling
- After completing the registration and payment process, click the “Book Exam Slot” tab on the Candidate Dashboard to set up your exam time. Exam appointments need to be made as soon as possible and within the window of time specified on the NMAT website.
- Click on Submit after choosing “At Test Centre” as the exam method.
- select the PROCEED button on the exam scheduler, review the policies, and select “I agree.”
- Select the Exam Centre, Country, and Time, as well as the Day and Time You Would Like to Take the Test.
- Seven days prior to the exam date, you can download the admission card from your Candidate Dashboard after scheduling the exam.
Retake
The NMAT by GMACTM exam may be taken by you up to three times in a testing cycle (which runs from July 1st, 2018 to June 30th, 2019). This covers the initial try in addition to a maximum of two retakes.
After you’ve made the prior attempt, your dashboard allows you to retake payment and schedule. After paying the retake price, all you need to do is click the Retake Exam option and choose the next exam’s location, day, and time.
If you have successfully completed an attempt and have received your score card with a valid score only then you can book your next attempt immediately but for a date after 15 days.
If you have not successfully completed the exam and your score card reflects NoShow, NDA Refused or Exam Incomplete only then you can book a slot for any date after 24 hrs.
