The five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) at NALSAR is a distinctive course designed for ambitious young minds seeking a career in Business Management. This comprehensive program, tailored for students after class XII, culminates in the awarding of a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) upon successful completion. Situated in an enriching academic environment, NALSAR integrates management education with legal insights, equipping students with problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate dynamic business landscapes. With a distinguished faculty, the IPM program ensures continuous engagement with business leaders, intellectuals, civil society representatives, and academics to build a solid foundation for future managers.
Spanning fifteen terms over five years, the initial three years focus on strong theoretical foundations and practical knowledge in disciplines such as philosophy, psychology, fine arts, mathematics, economics, law, and management. The final two years are dedicated to transforming students into well-rounded business leaders and managers.
Additionally, the Department of Management Studies (DoMS) provides an option for students to exit the program after successfully completing three years, in which case they will be awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.
Program Design
The IPM Program is structured in alignment with the UGC’s Choice-Based Credit Policy and includes core courses, ability enhancement courses (both compulsory and skill-based), and electives (both discipline-specific and generic). During the BBA phase, students can select from discipline-specific and generic electives listed in the course curriculum. At the MBA level, students are offered a diverse range of elective options to choose from.

NALSAR Hyderabad IPM Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria for the Five-Year Integrated BBA-MBA Program
A. General Eligibility:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
i. Candidates must have completed their Class 12th examinations from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) or an equivalent CGPA.
ii. A valid scorecard from NMET (UG) or IPMAT (IIM Indore) is required.
Note: Candidates currently appearing for their 10+2 or equivalent examination are also eligible to apply.
B. Eligibility for Resident Students of Telangana:
To apply under the Resident Student of Telangana category, candidates must meet the general eligibility criteria mentioned above and obtain a qualifying rank in NMET (UG) or IPMAT (IIM Indore). Additionally, they must fulfill one of the following conditions:
i. The candidate must have studied in Telangana for four consecutive years and appeared for the qualifying examination in the same state.
OR
ii. The candidate must have resided in Telangana for at least four of the past seven years and completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from an educational institution within the state.
Intake
Reservation Policy for BBA-MBA (Integrated Management Program – IPM)
- 30% (19 seats) of the total intake is horizontally reserved for female candidates.
- 5% (3 seats) of the total intake is horizontally reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWD).
- Up to three additional candidates may be admitted under the All India General Category beyond the sanctioned intake each year through NMET-UG/IPMAT (IIM Indore) to accommodate potential vacancies due to withdrawals.
- 20% (13 seats) of the total intake is allocated to the Foreign National category, exceeding the sanctioned strength.
Note: If a candidate from a reserved (vertical reservation) category qualifies for admission under the Unreserved category based on merit, they will be allotted a seat in the Unreserved category rather than in the reserved category.
Admission Process
Admission to the Integrated BBA-MBA Program will be based on performance in NMET (UG) or IPMAT (IIM Indore), along with a Personal Interview. Candidates who qualify in either of these entrance exams will be considered for admission based on merit.
- Weightage Distribution:
- 75% of the selection criteria will be based on the entrance exam scores.
- 25% will be allocated to the performance in the Personal Interview.
The scores obtained in the entrance exams will be converted into a percentage, and candidates will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview based on merit. If a candidate has appeared for both NMET (UG) and IPMAT (IIM Indore), the University will consider the higher of the two scores for admission.
