Introduction

What is XAT?

XAT (Xavier’s Aptitude Test) is the entrance exam conducted by Xavier Labour Relation Institute(XLRI) Jamshedpur on the behalf of Xavier Association of Management(XAMI) for last 60 years.

Now it has become an online exam.

Eligibility

Candidates must have a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline.

Exam Pattern

No. of question ranges from 95 to 100.

  1. Verbal & Logical Ability(VA&LR): 26 questions
  2. Decision Making(DM): 21 question
  3. Quantitative Ability(QA)+Data Interpretation: 27 questions
  4. GK: 25 questions

There will be negative marking for wrong answers and un-attempted questions.

There will be no negative marking for GK section.

Syllabus

XLRI doesn’t release any specific syllabus for XAT. However, a list of topics for the exam based on the previous years’ pattern has been suggested by expert. The below-given table explains the XAT syllabus in depth-
